Older entries in the series are highly regarded for their ridiculous and oftentimes over-the-top atmosphere, and it seems like 2K19 developer Yukes took those games to heart, and created something that both hardcore and casual fans could get behind. Serving as by far the best title in the WWE 2K series, WWE 2K19 has nearly everything from wacky match types, a steller roster, and incredibly fun gameplay. It's a shame the series couldn't keep the momentum going following it. Wrestling simulation games Online play provided a smooth experience aside from a couple of small hiccups which were expected around launch. Every match mostly felt as though I was playing locally with friends. Online is going to be a big way to keep people coming back to the game, and I think AEW Fight Forever passed that test.

Developed by THQ San Diego and led by creative director Sal Divita, who also worked on WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game, WWE All Stars let go any notion of realism or simulation and focused on the fun of wrestling, and the result was, shocker, a ridiculously fun wrestling game. But more than that, it was also a smartly designed fighting game as well with some of the coolest wrestling super moves there have ever been.
